Over the course of the yarn crawl, my cat finally discovered yarn (nevermind the fact I knit in front of him daily his whole life so far, months on end).
His favorites to drag away and "hunt" to completion were 100% merino and also anything with alpaca.
So knowing he likes crinkle toys and that this would be entirely one of his most coveted fibers to steal, I hoped this would work to redirect him away from yarn stashes. Thankfully, I was right. Now that he has his own alpaca fishy, he leaves my yarn alone more often. He loves this thing, and it barely made it out of the package before he was on it.

Betty is always a great presence on my fridge, looking down, judging me!

Had so much fun meeting the alpacas and hearing about the rescues. Bonus is the gift shop of fantastic natural yarn to create something cozy.

I visited the farm a couple weeks ago and had so much fun. It’s really wonderful how they’ve rescued these beautiful creatures. I picked up some cute handmade gifts as well. Can’t wait to have the chance to go back!

I have gotten gloves and socks from Firwood. I also tried other brands, but these are the best. Higher amounts of alpaca used in each socks. After they put products in mail, they watch to make sure you have received it. How do I know this, well my package was taking quite a bit of time to get here. They actually emailed me to make sure I hadn't received it. This was during the snow storms but I finally got it. Great socks and consumer help. The best!

These socks are so beautiful and warm, yet also thin enough to layer if needed underneath boots during what has been an incredibly cold winter. Not to mention the added good feels for helping the animals!! Will definitely be dropping by for more pairs!
