These women are primarily in the most depressed areas of Peru. Through the organization the women can promote and market handicrafts produced by them. This helps to improve the quality and standard of living of the artisans and to value the work done by artisan women. Firwood Farm is proud to be able to support the work of this organization. APPEARANCE

This unique hand woven rug, with European- like texture, shows occasional unevenness and nubs which give each rug a one-of-a-kind look.

CLEANING AND CARE

Vacuum your rug with a smooth surface at- tachment on a frequent basis. There will be a slight fiber loss each time but so minimal as to be unnoticeable. Spots are easily removed with mild soap and lukewarm water. You may shampoo the entire surface with Woolite or have it professionally cleaned. For your rug and for your safety, a quality foam (or similar material) under-pad is recommended.
