CC meets new little AJ!
A.J. (Almond Joy) is Here!
Our new little cria arrived on April 5. He joins his older brothers Cookies ‘n Creme (CC) and Hershey so we chose a name that continued the “sweets” tradition (thanks to our friends at Hopes & Dreams Alpacas for the suggestion). He weighed over 16# and his left ear was a little bent but it is already straightening out. This picture was taken just hours after he was born. We put on his “cria coat” because the weather hasn’t been very warm. Yesterday he started “humming” and was jumping around a bit so I’m sure he’ll be running by Farm Days!
Three Weeks and Counting…
Expectant moms are eating for two, right? That’s just what White Out says as she sneaks in the room where we store the alpaca grain and takes a few extra bites right out of the grain bag!
We are hoping to have her new little one to show off at our Spring Farm Days planned for June 5-6.
